Travelling to gozo

There are 2 ways of getting to Gozo. The fastest, but more expensive option is a 10 minute helicopter ride from ‘Malta International Airport’. The Helicopter transfer and sight seeing tours are operated by ‘Helisureste’. Their schedule is designed to coincide with many International flights. To view the Helisureste time table and conditions click on www.airgozo.com

The car ferry is the more commonly used means of transport to the Island of Gozo. The ferry ride is a half hour journey between ‘Cirkewwa’ and ‘Mgarr harbour and is operated by ‘Gozo Channel Company’. 3 state of the art brand new ferries operate their busy schedule in almost any weather condition. There are regular trips even during the night. To view timetables click on www.gozochannel.com

The Taxi ride between the Airport and the Cirkewwa ferry terminal takes just over half an hour. Taxis are usually large vans capable of transporting dive equipment. Most Gozo Dive shops organise ‘Airport Transfers’ for their clients. For prices and details please contact the Dive Shops
